FTN portions of DEVICE: code portions of HICUM- irrelevant routines have been eliminated
(i. e. there is no code missing that is relevant for a model implementation)
first version of a stand- alone FTN version (with the help of Thierry Burdeaux from STM), incl. input
files and results; ==> can be downloaded and compiled by the user
working on Verilog/ AMS version (with the help of Hassene Mnif from IXL/ Bordeaux)
a new version has not been released so far in order to avoid confusion among simulator vendors and to
facilitate a stable implementation of the present version throughout the EDA industry.

implementation and tests in SPICE3F5, completed by Jean- Claude Perraud
(perraud@ensi-caen.ismra.fr), show excellent convergence behavior

XMOD Technologies (located in Bordeaux, France) has started to offer
- HICUM- Aperitiv, an ICCAP- based single transistor parameter extraction tool and
- HICUM parameter extraction services
see Berlin ICCAP Modeling Workshop in March (www. admos. de/ workshop- March2002)

first HICUM Users Meeting Minneapolis (during BCTM 2001)
second European HICUM Workshop in June 02 (registration doubled compared to last year)
papers submitted with results for various SiGe processes with f T from 40 to 150 GHz
comparison using IBMs internal resources and preliminary infrastructure (thanks to Ramana Murty)
(Note: results are not final yet, i. e. do not reflect the models full potential )

TRADICA version 5 with new Graphical User Interface and postprocessing tool has been
delivered to customers (UNIX and Windows systems)
