You will get a good overview of Dresden and its most important sights (exterior views) when walking through the historic city center. You will be guided along the Royal Palace with its famous art collections, the Dresden Zwinger, the Semper Opera House, the reconstructed Frauenkirche and the Brühl Terrace, also being called Europe's balcony. Price per person: 20 € (minimum number of participants: 20) Tour: Meißen and the White Gold - cancelled due to lack of participantsFriday May 28, 2010, 3.00 pm — 8.00 pmThe tour starts at the Görges-Bau. By bus you will go to the more than 1000 years old city of Meißen. You will visit the famous Meißen Porcelain Manufactory, with a guided tour through the museum with the porcelain collections and through the demonstration factory, where you can see how the porcelain is fabricated and painted. Afterwards you will walk through the beautiful historical old town of Meißen to Albrechtsburg castle, where the porcelain has been invented 300 years ago. Bus tour back to Dresden. Price per person: 65 € (minimum number of participants: 15) Steamboat Tour to Pillnitz Castle - cancelled due to lack of participantsSaturday May 29, 2010, 10.00 am — 2.00 pmThe tour starts at the shipping pier at the Dresden Terrassenufer. A historic paddle steamer brings you upstream the river Elbe to Pillnitz Castle, the former summer residence of the Saxon monarchs. Here you will see the unique castle complex and visit the park with its orangery, its palm house and its botanical preciosities, such as the 200-years-old Camellia (exterior views). Bus tour back to Dresden. Price per person: 40 € (minimum number of participants: 15) Please note: If you pay by credit card, the payment for the tours will not be charged until the minimum number of participants is reached.
