Please remember that papers will only appear in the proceedings, if at least one of the authors has pre-registered for the workshop before the early-registration deadline: 1 April 2010.

The registration fee includes access to the sessions, the coffee breaks, the conference proceedings (Memory Stick), as well as access to the Welcome Reception (May 25, 2010) and the Conference Dinner (May 27, 2010).

At least one author of each paper must register at the participant/speaker rate. Authors must indicate the Paper-ID (registration number of the paper) on the registration form. Students must send a copy of their student identification card by fax or email to CMD right after their registration.

The Conference Dinner on May 27, 2010 at the Sophienkeller Restaurant is included in the registration fee. Please indicate on the registration form (link below) whether you want to participate. The price for accompanying persons is 45,00 €.

The fees for the conference and social program can be paid by bank transfer or by credit card (Visa and Mastercard accepted). If you need to cancel your registration, you must do so in writing (emails accepted). In case of cancellation until April 16, 2010, the registration fee minus a handling fee of 25,00 € will be refunded. If the cancellation request arrives after April 16, 2010, no refund will be applicable; the cancellation fee then is 100% of the registration fee.

After completing the online registration form, you will receive the following documents:

• an email with a transmission report of your completed registration form
• an email from CMD with your confirmation of registration / invoice and – if booked – a confirmation of your hotel reservation.

Financial Support

NDES 2010 has specifically allocated funds to provide financial support to participants who are presenting papers at the conference and can demonstrate that they would not be able to attend without such assistance. Financial support can be used to help pay for registration, lodging, and transportation costs. In order to be eligible, the applicant must be:

• a participant from a developing country, and
• an author of an accepted paper, and
• the presenter of that paper.

The amount of support depends on the number of applicants. The support will be paid off at the registration desk. A financial support to the conference fee can directly reduce the fee to be paid. If you meet the above requirements, please submit a 1-page application that includes:

• the title of the paper you will present at NDES (full title with full list of authors),
• a short curriculum vitae,
• a statement indicating the type of costs, and
• a statement clarifying that you would not be able to attend without financial aid.

Applications should be submitted electronically via email to office@ndes2010.org, no later than April 9th, 2010. Later applications will not be processed.
